INDEPENDENCE DAY 2015: WE MAY HAVE 1.24 BILLION MOUTHS TO FEED BUT WE HAVE DOUBLE THE HANDS TO WORK SAYS MOINUDDIN

BANGALORE(MT NEWS): India’s 69th Independence Day, was celebrated in the Magnifique Public School Campus by the Students, Staff and Management of the school on Kanakapura Main Road. The event proved to be very informative and aroused a great sense of nationalism amongst the students, staff and the parents of the students.

 

Environmentalist, Author, Motivational Speaker and Founder  Secretary of Magnifique Group of Educational Institutions U.S. Moinuddin inspired the audience with his powerful speech, that gave references of Sarojini Naidu, Bhagath Singh, Bahadur Shah Zafar, Jhansi Lakshmi Bai, Mahatma Gandhi, Mangal Pandey and other freedom fighters of India. He said , “ People say that India is overpopulated, we may have more mouths to feed, but we have double the hands to work. There are countries where less man power is the problem, but India’s man power of 1.24 Billion is a force to reckon with.” He further stated the story of Mahatma Gandhi, where his belief and vision of Satya and Ahimsa inspired millions of followers for the  freedom struggle.

There were cultural programs that included fancy dress competetions  for the students, ethnic songs were also sung by the staff  and students. Some of the students delivered   speeches stating the historical details of India’s Independence.

Principal Kumuda, administrator Ameena Sayeed and others were also present in the event.

Independence Day was also celebrated in the Magnifique English School campus in Minhajnagar, where Moinuddin inspired the students to identify their goals and  follow them with consistency and commitment. He also gave references of Tippu Sultan, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Sachin Tendulkar and APJ Abdul Kalam. He further said, “Every individual should become a national asset, where,  you feel good about yourself, and your family and nation feels proud about you.”

Principal of Magnifique English School, Asmathunnisa and Administrator Nusrath Nizami also participated in the event.
