‘COLOROTHON’ season 11 – To be held at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium Jayanagar
- A painting festival that has seen participation of over 1 lakh people across the country including cities like New Delhi, Lucknow, Chennai and Hyderabad is now in Bangalore
- 7000 people participated at the 10th season held last year at Bangalore, 10000+ participation expected this year
20 January, 2019, Bengaluru: COLOROTHON, after 10 seasons across 5 cities in India and One lakh collective participation, is back to Bengaluru for Season 11, to rekindle the lost joy of drawing, painting and capturing your imagination alive on paper. ‘COLOROTHON -Draw your imagination, season 11’, is being organized by Breathe Entertainment, This Republic Day, Saturday, the 26th January ,2019 from 8 am to 4 pm at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium,Jayanagar, near Madhavan Park, Bengaluru.
In what is expected to be the largest open air drawing and painting session, people in the age group between 3 and 90 years can come along with their families, express their imagination and creativity on paper.
The event will be inaugurated by Worshipful Mayor Smt. GangambikeMallikarjun, along with Shri. Ramalinga Reddy, Senior Congress Leader, Ex. Home Minister, Govt. of Karnataka in the presence of Mrs. Sowmya Reddy, Jayanagar MLA, N. Nagaraju, ByrasandraCorporator and Celebrity guests like Actress Samyuktha Hornad, and Mrs. InterNations USA 2018 – 2019 Krupalatha Martin Dass.
Revealing the activities lined up for the event, Kishore Joseph, Founder Trustee COLOROTHON, said, “Even though not a competition we will announce 15 best paintings selected across 5 age groups, which are 3 to 7, 8 to 12, 13 to 20, 21 to 30, and 31 and above to encourage and remind people that a life without creativity could never be colorful. 300 Best paintings will be donated to our charity partner Omashram Trust Old Age Care. The event will also have a lineup of special activities ranging from drums circle, caricature, doodle artist, dance performance by Genesis School of Dance, Musical Band, self-defense for women, workshop on child abuse by faith foundation and a special act by Agni- Art For All, India’s got talent artist. The event will also witness popular artists doing live paintings. Our vision is to see Indians from all over the country of all ages and all groups take to painting on a day which will be celebrated as Colorothon Day”
“We will be approaching the Tourism and Culture department seeking their support and funding for this social causes and take this event to all major cities in India.” He added.
COLOROTHON is a platform that brings people together to celebrate colors and life. As an organizer we have elevated this season with inception of a largest open air painting exhibition, which will happen within a span of one month. Christened as a COLOROTHON initiative, the exhibition will display all the paintings from the event and the proceedings will go to charitable organizations.

- Talk on women self-defence by Ms. AntraBhargav – India’s First Women to get Black Belt in Taekwondo at the age of 5.
- Gentle Giant, Chinese Lion, Hollow Man & Mirror Man by Agni Art For all Troup. 2 Clowns will also be present to entertain the kids
- Doodle Artist Mr. Sridhar Komaravalli, will engage the participants including the guests on dais during the Inaugural session,
- Calligraphy Expert Mr. Nanda will engage the participants along with 3D Photo Gallery.
- Caricature artist will be doing spot caricature.

- Entry and Registration is Free
- Age Group: 3 to 90.
- Every participant will receive a certificate.
- 15 best paintings from five age groups will be rewarded with a Memento.
- People need to carry their color tools.
- A3 drawing sheets will be provided by the organizers.
