TCIS Celebrates the National Day of France
18th July 2023. The Cambridge International School Whitfield celebrated the National Day of France earlier this week. Students from grades 3 to 10 participated in a special assembly that showcased French culture.
In the assembly, students from higher grades performed a play that explored the different aspects of France. They also sang French songs, including “Allouette,” “Dans la Jungle,” and “Dernière Danse.” A documentary on the French Revolution and its causes was also shown to the students.
During class activities, students in grade 2 introduced themselves in French and learned about the usage of French polite words in different situations. Students in grades 3 to 5 explored French culture through model and poster making, as well as presentations.
The celebration was a great opportunity for students to learn about French culture and history. It was also a fun and engaging way to celebrate the National Day of France.
