BOOK FESTIVALS ENCOURAGE BOOK CULTURE TO PREVAIL SAYS US MOINUDDIN
U.S. Moinuddin in the Prism Book stall, during the Bangalore Book Festival
BANGALORE (MT NEWS): The Bangalore Book Festival, which is being held at the Elaan Convention Centre, in J.P.Nagar was not very promising to the book Publishers, the ten day event which began on the 19th of December will end on the 28th.
Author, Environmentalist, Educationist, Motivational Speaker, US Moinuddin, who is based in Bangalore South visited the book festival and said, “The venue for the book festival is fantastic. But, a little bit of promotions by the organizers would have added a lot of flair to the event. Nevertheless, book festivals are very essential as they encourage book culture to prevail in the society.”
M. Nagaraju, from the customer service of Prism Books said, “In comparison with the Palace Grounds, where the Bangalore book festival used to be held, the venue is attracting less number of people, as most of them are unaware that the book festival is going on.”
SH Jameel the Proprietor of Sawanna Books said, “We are happy that the Bangalore Book Festival is taking place in Bangalore South. People from the surrounding areas can utilize the opportunity of finding thousands of titles from national and international authors under one roof. “
