Bangalore Schools Sports Foundation Participates at the 58th International Children’s Games, (ICG) Representing Bengaluru, India for the 17th Consecutive year
Bengaluru, July 29, 2026: Bangalore Schools Sports Foundation (BSSF), proudly announces its participation at the 58th International Children’s Games in Hualien, Taiwan scheduled from 1st to 6th August 2026. This remarkable achievement marks BSSF’s 17th consecutive year representing Bengaluru city and India at this renowned international event. Fielding Basketball team at this year’s games. The International Children’s Games is a Global Multi-Sport competition recognized, endorsed and organized under the auspicious of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The International Children’s Games a multisport competition is exclusively for Children aged 12 to 15 years of age. The games are organized every year in different countries of a city hosted by the City Mayors and Governors inviting children from all over the Globe taking the form of Children’s Olympics
Keeping the Nations Flag high, Bangalore Schools Sports Foundation has been working relentlessly in developing sports from the grass root level and has been determined in creating opportunities for children to compete at the world’s most prestigious International Children’s Games. The participating athletes have undergone rigorous training and preparation to excel in their respective sports disciplines. The dedication and commitment demonstrated by these young athletes reflect the values instilled by BSSF, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline.

Since the year 2009, the Children athletes from Bangalore City have been participating in the games with continued efforts of BSSF Track & Field Academy and have chosen the best-talented Athletes from across the city schools and Athletic Clubs to participate at the International Children Games (Children Olympics)
