Over 100 screened, more than 50 spectacles provided to needy people
Bangalore, December 12th 2013 : The people of in and around Jayanagar, 
Byrasandra surrounding thronged Christaphrabalay Church, Jayanagar for the free eye camp that was set up by Sri. Ramachandran Trust in association with Omashram Trust- Old age care Bangalore.
The Camp was inaugurated by Rev. Father Sampath , parish priest of Christaprabhalaya Church accompanied by Mr. Vaneshwaran, Managing Trustee, Sri. Ramachandaran Trust & Ms. Geeta Shankar, Managing Trustee, Omashram Trust.
Over 100 people were screened for various eye ailments around 50 of these patients would provided spectacles at their door step.
In addition a mobile Organ donation was set up by IDL Foundation a Blind organisation alongside. Most of the people screened on the day were aged 50 and above. All the elders were provided snacks and lunch. Addressing the gathering Mr. Vaneshwaran said that more and more such camps will be conducted in different location to serve the needy people.
