Time to celebrate birthday of Virgin Mother Mary
Blessings in the form of Miracles do happen under her nativity.
Bangalore saw the beautiful Car Procession in commemoration of Virgin Blessed 
Mother Marry’s of the Birthday mother of Jesus Christ on 7th September at Christha Prabhalaya Church Jayanagar, hundreds of devotes took part in the procession. Mother Mary, the mother of Christ, was a Jewish woman of Nazareth in Galilee. She married Joseph and accompanied him to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born.The feast was celebrated on September 7 and is a festival of peace and unity, of joy and love and happiness. There was 9 days Novena started on 29th August as a preparation for the feast and on the 10th day the feast is celebrated. Another reason to rejoice on this feast is the harvest festival as well said the parish priest. In celebrating the nativity of Mary, Christians anticipate the incarnation and birth of her divine son, and gave honor to the mother of our lord and savior. Novena happens only in selected churches in Bangalore and Christha Prabhalaya Church, Jayanagar is one of them.
Tomorrow 8th September Mass will happen across all the churches. The opening prayer at Mass speaks of the birth of Mary’s Son as the dawn of our salvation and asks for an increase of peace. The Blessed Virgin occupies a unique place in the history of salvation, and she has the highest mission ever commended to any creature. People at the feast rejoiced that the Mother of God is our Mother, too. They called upon the Blessed Virgin as “Cause of our joy”, one of the most beautiful titles in her litany.
Father at the church said ‘People have started believing in miracles because of Mother Mary. It’s their faith and trust in Mother Mary which makes her birthday more special. Her image is the light for the whole Christian people’.
